Quick Facts

Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm — no call coverage required
40 slides daily — cytology screening without cytotech assistance
Includes non-GYN cytology, thyroid FNA, body fluid and CSF, urine cytology
5 – 10 surgical pathology cases daily for second review
Performs gross dissection when PA coverage needed
Monthly tumor board participation required
2 peripheral smear reviews daily with 1 – 2 bone marrows weekly
